{"id":890,"date":"2023-01-06T13:40:32","date_gmt":"2023-01-06T13:40:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/davesphoto.co.uk\/?p=890"},"modified":"2023-05-27T08:27:31","modified_gmt":"2023-05-27T08:27:31","slug":"e-72-eco-paper-developer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/davesphoto.co.uk\/index.php\/2023\/01\/06\/e-72-eco-paper-developer\/","title":{"rendered":"E-72 &#8220;eco&#8221; paper developer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I have started using this paper developer as like <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/davesphoto.co.uk\/index.php\/2023\/01\/06\/crawley-fx-55\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"887\">FX-55<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/davesphoto.co.uk\/index.php\/2023\/01\/06\/barry-thorntons-higher-definition-two-bath\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"880\">Barry Thornton&#8217;s two bath<\/a><\/strong> film developers, I can make it at home when needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>at 20 degrees normal RC paper dev time is about 2 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Use at 250mm + 750ml water for normal contrast. 1:1 %00ml + 500ml if you want more punch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>Warm Water 50 Degrees approx.<\/td><td>750 ml<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Phenidone*<\/td><td>0.3g *<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Sodium Sulphite (anh)<\/td><td>45 g (2 tablespoons)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Ascorbic Acid (Vit C) **<\/td><td>19 g (4 1\/4 teaspoons)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Sodium Carbonate<\/td><td>77g (9 tablespoons)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Potassium Bromide<\/td><td>1.9g (1\/4 + 1\/2  1\/4 teaspoon)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Cold water to 1ltr<\/td><td><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>* Phenidone I make a 1% solution in Propylene Glycol which makes it easy to measure out. 10ml per 0.1g<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1g Phenidone to 100ml of PG which I pre warm to about 60 degree C make the Phenidone easier to mix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>required. I make all my Phenidone on buying it into 100ml bottles and use when needed.
