I love film photography & simplifying it is a must if you want to stay sane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After many trials and errors, I have recently decided to focus (sorry) on Medium format using Black and White film stocks for all of my film works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My two films of choice are Ilfords FP4+ and Delta 400 Pro, which cover every situation I put myself in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta for me is for overcast days or where the sun is not coming out to say hello much and the FP4+ is for when the sun wants to say hi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I now only use my two Hasselblad 500 c\/m s for film and always have a backloaded with either to swap out when needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently I added the Hasselblad 907x with CFV II 50c back which can be put on the film body, opening up all my old lenses to a whole new life, but for now, that is still in the experimental stage for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The key to using only B&W film and in 6×6 format is I want to spend 2025 onwards making large enlargement prints but also printing high quality, old school, 16×20 prints for sale here on my website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simplifying things also makes for a faster workflow, shoot, develop, and print.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SHOOT:<\/strong> Limited camera gear
DEVELOP:<\/strong> one developer, stop and fix
PRINT: <\/strong>Enlarger is permanently set up for 6×6 and all ready to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digital?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, I still use my Canon R6 and now the 907X for when a rapid turnaround is demanded but medium format 6×6 film is where my heart and passion for photography rests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More 120 film work will be posted soon, great shots from the four rolls I have just developed & that are drying in the shed, and 2024 \/ 25 looks like a fun time in film is set for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
